Some "smart" scientist claimed to have found the cure for cancer by injecting some genetically modified virus into human bodies, and at first it was a blast, until lots of people started dying and the disease turned airborne. What's worse, of those that survived, those infected started dropping hair and turning violent, totally absent of humanity. There was no one, except for Robert, at that point of time, really alive on Earth, and his best friend is Samantha the dog. He was totally immune to the virus, but the dog isn't. So he's been doing experiments, trying to help to save mankind from extinction. So one day, at evening almost night, the "dark seekers" set up a trap for him and tried to kill him, but Sam saved him but got bitten instead. In the end Sam got infected, and when she started to bark ferociously at Robert in his arms, he had to look away and strangle her to death with his own hands. Robert was angry and wanted revenge. So he went out and tried to destroy them at night, but got outnumbered instead. When the final blow was about to be dealt, a bright light shined and all the "dark seekers" ran. He was saved by Anna and her son, Eden. Both of them were also immune to the disease. Anna told him she had heard his broadcast and that there was a camp in the mountains, where there were surviving humans. However, following the smell of injured Robert's blood, all of the "dark seekers" came by one night and tried to kill them, and it was when they hid in the laboratory at the basement that they found the cure. Robert hid them safely and gave Anna the cure to save mankind, and suicide bombed himself with the "dark seekers" to save them. At last, Anna and Eden found the civilization in the mountains, together with the cure.
